Chris Good is an Ann Arbor based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and organic vegetable farmer. Drawing inspiration from soul, folk, and west african music, Good mixes an eclectic sound full of positivity & spirit-filled energy with poignant, humorous and engaging lyrics.
Chris is currently celebrating the release of his debut solo album, Beautiful, which features an all-star band of many of Michigan's finest musicians including members of the Macpodz and Ragbirds as well as indie luminaries Theo Katzman and Matt Jones. The album also features some of his bandmates from Mutual Kumquat, his soul-folk-pop band of 12 years, which has released 5 self-produced albums and performed across the country.
"...Beautiful is a collection of pure, honest tunes that burst with life and occasional instrumental color...While Mr. Good’s lyrics often bleed social concerns his earnest voice and aqueous blue eyes couldn’t be overbearing or preachy. His aim seems pure and universal – for all to realize how beautiful it is to live and grow..."

"Chris is a fantastic musician and farmer who cares so much about the environment. He puts the mental in environmental because he's always thinking about how he can make the world a better place. Chris' debut album Beautiful is loaded with great songs featuring some of Michigan's finest musicians. I'll definitely be featuring it on my radio program in the weeks and months to come."
-Matthew Altruda, DJ/Host of TreeTownSound, Ann Arbor's 107.1FM
"Chris Good creates music infused with intentionality, ingenuity and integrity. The sweet grooves will make you long for that first warm spring day when you can open your windows. Beautiful inspires individual and group dance parties every time it is bursting through the speakers."
